The Relationship Impact Performance Process

Effective teams have a high level of relational competence, but how is this achieved? Unlike traditional “training” programs, we don’t simply identify character traits. Instead, we help individuals identify their preferred areas of relational competence and then help them develop the other areas. By integrating foundational values with RI’s relational competence model, individuals clearly see where they experience conflict with team members who have different relational priorities. The RI Performance Process helps teams determine the primary ways in which team members manage risk and focus on tasks and people. Through tools and coaching, team members learn new habits and become more responsive in their relationships, which encourages trust and decreases friction. Formerly nonproductive relationships become an opportunity for growth and learning for every member of the team.
